Not fit for purpose

Loved this the first couple of times I used it, although it only fitted a small chicken on the rotisserie. However, the prongs which hold the chicken in place on the spit had screws that tightened them and these soon threaded due to the prongs being made of inferior material, not up to the job. It now takes me 15 minutes or so to the chicken onto the spit using screwless prongs. Huge waste of time and very irritating.

Exactly what I wanted

Ariete Ariete Bon Cuisine 300 Mini Oven With Rotisserie, 30l, 1600 watts, SilverDelivered correctly and on schedule to Poste Restante at my local La Poste here in France and exactly what I wanted. Easy to assemble once unpacked. Easy to understand and use controls, well constructed.For the person who gave an adverse review who bought one but lived in the UK and was worried about changing the plug from Intenational to UK Square Pin this is NOT a big problem in real life. I have worked with Electronic and Electrical Equipment for years and it's a job any reasonably smart adult can do, just ensure you connect the correct wires to the appropriate pins in the plug and have the correct fuse, 7 amp should do as its a 1.6Kw appliance, or 10 amp at most of you can't get a 7A fuse. If you have problems any competent Electrician or Electronics Technician could change the plug for you or indeed any shop which repairs electrical equipment (although they would have to be paid).So I recommend this very neat and well constructed unit and it is good value for money, and I praise the supplier for prompt delivery in accordance with my instructions.

Very pleased

Bought to use solely as a rotisserie.Its great no more dry unevenly cooked chicken. Useful 2hour timer allows for cooking at lower temperature for longer. Have to put a smaller drip tray on the lower bars (which are never used )to have room for the larger chickens.No problem. Used about once a week, found the best temp 150-160 for 2hours.Can definitely recommend.
