It does do the pasta rolling function quite well. However during its second or third use a ? ball bearing (ovoid in shape ?!) did burp out from between the rollers and i guess if it was supposed to be in there in the first place it must have a function; despite which pasta still rolls out ok. Customer services responded quickly to my anxieties by wanting a picture of the offending bearing...(it's 3-4 mm diameter, not quite round, not quite shiny, magnetic and is in the bin).More to the irritations Kenwood want lots more dosh for attachments to cut the pasta sheet into spag, tag, or fettucini.Buy a rolling pin.

I bought this pasta roller to complement my excellent mixer only to be disappointed with it. The pasta found it's way into the gears and bearings at each end of the rollers and jammed it up solid. It was impossible to remove. I threw it into the wheelie bin. It was a total waste of money and I would definitely recommend it to my worst enemy.
