I recently bought this item. I am so happy with my purchase, now I can start learning all about ice cream making. Why 4 stars instead of 5? I would prefer it to be a bit more quiet, especially the rotation of the paddle. You hear some mechanical noise there. Overall, a very good buy that will last a lifetime if you treat it right. Do not expect the machine to pay itself out since it is quite expensive and be honest here. How much ice cream do you eat in a year? Still, you are getting a premium product that will serve you well and let you indulge in the magical world of custom gelato making. I am very excited, today I tried to make a chocolate sherbet and it came out superb. Recommended for the people of the right mind set.
