Bought this machine having tried to make ice cream with no form of ice cream machine and wanted smoother results. Originally planned to get a cheaper machine where you pre-freeze the container but knew this would irritate me as I'm probably not organised enough to remember to do this the day before as necessary. Also, with those types of machines, you can only make one batch per 24 hours.Read the reviews for both the pre-freeze and integral freezing machine - both had good reviews although when I read the integral reviews, a lot of people had moved onto this type of machine from the other sort. Didn't feel I could justify the £250.00 price tag though for an integral machine.Then I saw this machine advertised with one review which said it did exactly what it said; which is make ice cream, chill bottles and crush ice.I've used the machine several times now and am very pleased with the results. I wanted it to make ice cream with gluts of soft fruit and made two batches of strawberry ice cream and a strawberry granita, one after the other. Two batches of the best vanilla I've ever made and a blackcurrant swirl, again, straight after each other.Easy to clean, instructions pretty good although recipes haven't translated from German to English that well and I haven't tried them.Chilled a bottle well too. Machine feels very well made and isn't particularly noisy.Overall, really pleased and would recommend to anyone. You will need to buy a plug adaptor - Europe to UK - this is the only negative point I have found so far.

I purchased the Machine with a bit of apprehension as I had not come across the brand name before, I am glad I did. It makes fantastic Ice Cream and is quiet and very well made, can also use it as a Wine Cooler :-), 2 for the very good price of 1.

I am very pleased with this purchase, it works very well, I use it all the time and the recipe book is very helpful, the quick ice cream one works a dream, no need for cooking/boiling anything. You can also easily make one batch straight after the other. The company is very helpful to deal with too. I would recommend this product and the company.
