Great Machine

I really love this Gadget.This model is attractive and well made. It is relatively small for a tabletop ice maker and really does not look out of place in the home.The ice maker is easy to use produces new ice cubes every ten minutes or so and although you can hear the fan running when it is freezing the noise it makes is certainly not excessive. The sound of freshly made ice dropping into the tray is one of the nicest sounds in my kitchen!The product even tells you when the ice tray is full and when it requires more water.If you think you would like fresh ice without the hassle, I would recommend this product.

Should last a lifetime

I like things like this with simple controls like 'on' and 'off', that work faultlessly every time and feel as they could carry on doing it for ever.

brand new out of the box - doesnt make ice?

I have unwrapped and set up this brand new appliance - for whatever reason or reasons, having given it three or four separate starts and left it for up to two hours, it simply refuses to make any ice.I have carefully followed the set up guide.Has anyone had a similar experience?Am I being dumb?My old machine worked well for 5 years ( a Palm Springs unit ) and this is a replacement.Any help to get ice made would be appreciated.Otherwise I am going to have to return it and look for something else.
